1.Right to repair movement :-

U.S President Joe Biden signed an executive order calling the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to prevent companies from restricting customers from repairing their own products, Including laptops, smartphones, cars washing machines and heavy equipments.

What is right to repair movement?

Activists and organisations around the world have been advocating for the right of consumer to be able to repair their own electronics and other products as part of the right to repair movement. The movement traces its roots back to the very dawn of the computer era in the 1950.

The main component of the movement is that to get companies to make spare parts, tools and information to repair devices available to customers and repair shops to increase the lifespan of the products and to keep them from endung up in landfills.

2.Portuguese man-of-war:-

The venomous but deceptively beautiful blue bottle jellyfish, also known as the Portuguese man-of-War, have been sighted over the past three days at Mumbai's Juhu Beach.

About bluebottle jellyfish :-

1) The Portuguese man-of-War, is also known as bluebottle or floating terror.

2) These species found in Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean.

3) Found mostly in tropical and subtropical waters, in colonial manner.

4) The Portuguese man-of-War is a Carnivore.

5) It has numerous venomous microscopic nematocysts which deliver a painful sting powerful enough to kill fish, and has been known to occasionally kill humans.
